不久，楚浩然和凯瑟琳在FBI实验室做着实验。
“Jackson, is your mechanical device broken?（杰克逊，你的机械装置是不是坏了？）”凯瑟琳忽然递过了楚浩然的机械装置，开口道。
“Oh, during the battle, I accidentally hit it to the ground.（哦，打仗时我不小心砸到了地面。）”楚浩然摸着他的机械装置上的裂痕，淡淡说道。
“I’ll ask someone to fix it for you in a moment.（我等一会儿让人帮你修复一下吧。）”凯瑟琳接着说道。
“OK.（好的。）”只见，楚浩然正往一个烧杯中倒着药水。
“Jackson, I want to know what I said on the helicopter the day we returned from the war, do you think...?（杰克逊，我想知道打仗回来那一天，我在直升机上说的话，你觉得……）”凯瑟琳放下了楚浩然的机械装置，忽然开口道。
“Oh, I didn't take it too seriously, it was just friendship.（哦，我没当回事，是友谊。）”楚浩然立马回答道。
“Hmm, okay.（嗯，好。）”说着，凯瑟琳低头浅笑，“However, Jackson, do you feel that we are all merely the involved when it comes to emotional relationships? 数日后，FBI成员在射击训练营练枪，楚浩然依旧百发百中。
“Jackson, your mechanical device is here for you.（杰克逊，你的机械装置给你。）”这时，一个熟悉的声音响起。
“Oh, Catherine.（哦，凯瑟琳。）”楚浩然回过头来，接过了他的机械装置，伸手拂过，只见，他的机械装置上早已不见了裂痕，于是他开口道，“Has it been fixed yet?（已经修好了吗？）”
“Yes.（对的。）”凯瑟琳看着楚浩然，接着说道，“Jackson, please don't broke it next time.（杰克逊，下次可别弄坏了。）”
“OK, I know.（好，我知道了。）”说着，楚浩然将他的机械装置套上了自己的手臂，顿时，一道蓝光划过了他的机械装置的纹路，蔓延开来。
